Why do you wrestle?

I wrestle because it’s the only thing that I have done in my life, where when I do it, everything in the world makes sense. I have more clarity after I get done with a training session or competition. If I train right and work hard, I have chance to control the outcome and the only person I can blame for the result is me. It challenges me and pushes me to the point where I physically and mentally break. But after I break, it builds me up into a better human being with a new outlook and understanding of what I can handle. It has shaped and molded me into someone I never knew I could be. It teaches discipline, focus, integrity, accountability, mental fortitude, and physical resilience. So why do I wrestle? Because it’s what God put me on this earth to do and the gift that he gave me to showcase to the world.
