M.S. Head Coach

Coach Christian DuLaney, a Shakopee, Minnesota native, has been deeply involved in wrestling since 2005, bringing nearly two decades of experience as both an elite competitor and coach. A graduate of Benilde-St. Margaret’s High School, DuLaney was a two-time Minnesota State Runner-Up before continuing his career at the collegiate and international levels.

At Iowa Lakes Community College, he became a two-time NJCAA All-American, then transferred to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), where he was a two-year starter and graduated in 2019.

Since graduating, DuLaney has competed on the USAW Senior-Level Greco-Roman circuit, qualifying for the 2020 Olympic Trials and earning spots on Team USA in 2022 and 2023, including an appearance in Final X. He has spent extensive time training at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, where he worked alongside and learned from some of the world’s best wrestlers and coaches, gaining elite-level technical and tactical experience.

Off the mat, DuLaney has been coaching since 2019 throughout Minnesota—working with programs in Edina, Shakopee, Minnetonka, Park Center, and several local clubs—while also providing private training and serving as a referee. Most recently, in 2024–2025, he served as the Head JV Coach at Park Center High School, helping lead the team to the Northwest Suburban Conference JV Title.

Coach DuLaney is passionate about developing the next generation of wrestlers, focusing on fundamentals, discipline, and the mindset needed to succeed both in competition and in life. He takes pride in giving back to the sport that shaped him and continues to inspire young athletes to reach their full potential.
